Our app – Google maps in IE 6 – the customer’s idea not ours – started to receive the Operation Aborted message on a regular basis after going live. We also started to experience it in testing around the same time. The application had been running for several weeks , why would it start to get this error? A change by Google to the Maps API JavaScript? Any suggestions welcome.

Hey Leo,
You can take Hemant’s expression and modify it as such:

(?=^.{15}$)(?=.[a-zA-Z\d])(?=.*[!@#$%^&*_+~])(?!.*\s).*$

This will allow you to validate the input to make sure that the length is 15 characters
(?=^.{15}$)

And then valide that it contains the alpha(upper/lower) and special characters
(?=.[a-zA-Z\d])(?=.*[!@#$%^&*_+~])(?!.*\s).*$
or
(?=.[\w\d])(?=.*[\S])(?!.*\s).*$

I am trying lots to work with my code but it says me invalid login but when i try api password , it works on a fly.

Nice article – i agree that Comet will help bring down the barriers between traditional dekstop apps and web-based applications. Already Google are moving a lot of their software on to the web such as Google Docs, Gmail etc… and they are now even developing an OS where most of the applications will run in the browser.
